Back to school

My wee miss started school this Autumn. And thanks to the wonderful pattern designers I work with and follow, she is clothed in handmade pretties every single day.

Her favourite from the uniform I have made is the Ellie Inspired Schooldays Skirt. She loves the ruffles on this. I have had to make two others for friends of hers!

She has an adorable “Primary Pinafore” from the Back to School range by Ellie Inspired also. This is a quick, simple but super cute sew. And she loves it.

Just in case the school photographs prove as bad as usual, we took some gorgeous studio shots ourself on her first day. Her handmade skirt was teamed with a beautiful handmade headband and bag tag by the wonderful Mrs Pink’s Sewing Basket.

She also has a pair of school trousers. Trousers that actually fit her!! These are simplified sweetheart cargos by Pattern Emporium.

Thank you Kate and Laura!!

All of this uniform is washed repeatedly, and is wearing so well. It looks really cute, fits her beautifully and makes me very very happy to know that she’s got a bit of mama-made every day.
